Indian Women’s Football League-2 kicks off in Kokrajhar

Five teams - SAI football club Kokrajhar, Mumbai Knights FC Maharashtra, AIPL FC Bihar, Pudhuvai unicorns Pondicherry, Garhwal United football club Delhi are participating
The Indian Women’s Football League-2 2023-24 Group A match kicked off on Saturday in Kokrajhar.
The inaugural football match was played between the Garhwal United Football Club, Delhi and Pudhuvai Unicorns Pondicherry, where Pudhuvai Unicorns Pondicherry defeated Garhwal United Football Club Delhi by 1-0 goal.
Five teams – SAI football club Kokrajhar, Mumbai Knights FC Maharashtra, AIPL FC Bihar, Pudhuvai unicorns Pondicherry, Garhwal United football club Delhi are participating in the League that will end on March 31.
Pratibha Brahma, chairman Kokrajhar Municipal Board, Assam football association Vice President Kabiranjan Brahma, All Assam Master Athletics Association working President Maguram Balari among others attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Indian Women’s League organized by Kokrajhar District Sports Association was inaugurated by former Regional Director SAI, Subash Basumatary at the Kokrajhar SAI Field.
