An Indian student has been injured in Kyiv during cross-firing in the midst of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The student was making his way to the Ukrainian border when he was shot.
As per reports, the student has been identified as Harjot Singh. Singh said he was shot multiple times and his leg is injured.
Talking on the matter, Union Minister General V.K. Singh, who is currently in Poland, has said that the student has been taken to Kyiv after being injured where he is being treated.

Singh said that the Indian government is making all possible attempts to evacuate all Indians in war-torn Ukraine.
General Singh is one of four ministers dispatched as special envoys to Ukraine’s neighbours to oversee the evacuation of Indians from war-torn Ukraine.
