India on Saturday reported 41,469 fresh COVID-19 infections, while 593 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. The total cases in
India on Saturday reported 41,469 fresh COVID-19 infections, while 593 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The total cases in the country mounted to 3,16,13,993 including 4,08,920 active cases. The active cases constitute 1.29 percent of the total cases reported.
With the recovery rate currently standing at 97.37 percent, 3,07,81,263 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
The daily positivity rate stands at 2.34 percent. The overall death toll has climbed to 4,23,810.
A total of 46.64 crore tests have been conducted in the country so far, while 46.15 crore people have been inoculated against the virus.
