In a shocking incident, a minor girl was raped and later murdered. The minor hailed from Jugal Ati village of Bokakhat. The accused, Khagen Munda has been arrested. According to reports, the minor was missing since October 12. On Saturday, the girl’s family lodged a missing person’s report at Bokakhat police station, after which police arrested Khagen Munda who confessed to his crime during interrogation.
Khagen also informed the police about the location of the body of the girl. It was recovered from the inaccessible area of Kuruabahi in Bokakhat.
Earlier, On September 10, a minor girl studying in class 8 was found dead in her room in Karimganj, Assam. The deceased’s body was recovered lying nude on her bed. The locals suspected that the girl was first raped and then murdered.
