Highway Robbery in Assam, Businessman Shot, Robbed Off Rs 10 Lakh

A sensational case of robbery happened last night in Assam’s Nalbari where a gang of robbers shot at a businessman and robbed him of Rs 10 lakhs.

The incident has been reported from Mukalmua where a gang of three motorcyce borne robbers with masks on their faces shot at the businessman identified as Jakir Ali on the highway and injured him in the leg. After that they snatched the bag he was carrying with Rs 10 lakhs and sped off.

The incident happened last night when the businessman was on his way home after closing his shop. The injured businessman is currently undergoing treatment at a Barpeta nursing home.
