Continuing the war on drugs in Mizoram, Aizawl police personnel and Bazar Beat Post team on Wednesday seized suspected Heroin worth over rupees 17 lakhs in the international market from Aizawl.
The drugs were seized from New Market in Aizawl.
The seized drugs are valued at Rupees 1.5 lakhs in the local market but go up to as high as Rupees 17 lakhs in the international market.

The drugs were seized from the possession of a Myanmar national identified as Lalbiaksui from Lianduh in Myanmar.
Presently the accused is residing in Zokhawthar.
Meanwhile, further investigations are underway.
