“I have spent my childhood in Jamnagar. It is a blessing that we are able to plan my pre-wedding celebrations here. This is where my grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani, was born. Our PM, Shi Narendra Modi, had said that people should get married in India; it should be a matter of great pride and happiness for us. My father oftens says that this (Jamnagar) is my grandfather, the late Dhirubhai Ambani’s in-laws place. And that’s why we chose to host our pre-wedding celebrations here. I believe I belong to Jamnagar,” Anant Ambani was quoted as saying to India Today.
