Heartthrob Zubeen Garg injured; admitted to ICU

CM Sarma has instructed state health minister Keshab Mahanta to monitor the entire process of treatment of Zubeen Garg.

Assam’s iconic singer Zubeen Garg has been admitted to a private medical facility in Dibrugarh after he sustained a minor head injury.

Reportedly, Garg was in a resort in Dibrugarh when he slipped in the bathroom and struck his head. Doctors have revealed that the singer had a seizure.

According to officials, a CT scan has been conducted by doctors to ascertain his condition, while his vital parameters are stable.

Officials also stated that the singer has received five stitches on his head.

Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma instructed Dibrugarh DC to assure that singer Zubeen Garg should get all kinds of proper treatment.

The chief minister also instructed that all arrangements should be done for his treatment and if needed, he should be shifted to Guwahati or should be shifted to a hospital outside the state for advanced treatment through air ambulance.

CM Sarma has instructed state health minister Keshab Mahanta to monitor the entire process of treatment of Zubeen Garg.

Earlier this year, the singer was hospitalized after collapsing during an event at Guwahati.
