Guwahati Railways emerge as winners of BORBHAG Cup

Guwahati Railways defeated Jorhat Gymkhana Club to win the title.

Guwahati Railways have emerged as the winners of the third edition of the BORBHAG Cup (Inter-club tournament) which was held on January 7 at the Misa Polo Club in Nagaon district of Assam.

Guwahati Railways who comprised of members Kalyan Sahu, Nikhil Choudhary, Sanjiv Jaiswal, S N Choudhary and Aparup Saikia defeated Jorhat Gymkhana Club containing Wajid Hussain, Col J V Singh, H K Das, Air Commd. Samir Pradhan and Nagesh Singh to win the title.

The event was hosted as a part of the Misa Open 2024.

The Misa Open saw participation from 120 golfers representing 17 clubs across 5 states. A total of 18 professionals participated in the tournament.

The BORBHAG Cup was first organized in 2021 by the BORBHAG Group and has been hosted every year since then at leading Golf courses across the Northeast region. The tournament seeks to promote the game of Golf in the region.
