Guwahati: Minister sets 3-day deadline to probe water pipe burst in Kharguli

Assam Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Ashok Singhal has given a three-day deadline to probe the water pipe burst incident in Kharguli, Guwahati

Kamrup Metro DC Pallab Kumar Jha said that a magisterial level enquiry will also be carried out to probe the incident. The water pipe of the Gammon-JICA water supply project burst yesterday afternoon killing the women, injuring several others and causing damage to several houses and vehicles. Shelter camps have been set up in local schools for those whose houses have been damaged and have suffered losses.
