Guwahati: 7 trapped inside lift at Dispur MLA hostel for about an hour

The Assam State Disaster Response Force along with fire tenders on Friday night rescued 7 persons stuck inside a elevator at the MLA hostel in Dispur minutes after meeting MLA Jamaluddin Ahmed.

The persons were trapped inside the elevator for more than 45 minutes. One person who fell unconscious was admitted to a nearby hosptial.

The incident came to light only after one of the trapped persons sought for help through social media.
