Former Assam minister and Congress leader Siddique Ahmed has termed the allegations of corruption levelled against him as baseless and said everything will be clear after the probe into the graft case is over.

Welcoming the anti corruption and vigilance probe against the charges levelled against him, Ahmed said the allegations are motivated and aimed at tarnishing his image ahead of the elections.

Sleuths of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing of Assam Police had raided the residence of the former minister recently in connection with a graft case.
