The body of Joonali Nath has been recovered from NH-17 in Krishnai Salpara
In a shocking incident reported from Assam’s Goalpara, a body of a BJP leader was recovered from the national highway.
The body of BJP Goalpara District Secretary Joonali Nath was recovered from NH-17 in Krishnai Salpara.
It is now suspected that it is a case of murder and that the body was dumped on the national highway after the crime was committed.
According to Nath’s husband, she had left for Islampur around 4:30 PM yesterday. Concern grew when her husband attempted to contact her at 7 PM and found her phone unreachable.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
