Fresh Firing Reported Manipur's Jiribam District
Tensions flared at Jiribam after heavy crossfire broke out between armed groups in the Mongbung area and its surroundings late last night. The exchange of gunfire, involving armed miscreants from both the hills and valley regions, caused widespread panic among the residents of Jiribam. The sound of gunshots heightened fears and further escalated the already tense atmosphere.
