“Alert ~ Four more #COVID positive cases are reported from Bongaingaon district. The number of #COVID19 patients in Assam now stands at 41. ( 29 are discharged, 1 death, so active hospital cases 11.) Update at 1 pm / April 30 #AssamCovidCount,” Sarma tweeted.
The number of coronavirus patients in the state now stands at 41. A total of 29 patients have been discharged. The number of active hospital cases in Assam stands at 11.
Assam has so far seen just one death due to COVID-19 complications.
Earlier, two positive cases was reported on Tuesday, while a girl from Bongaigaon district tested positive for the deadly virus, another case was reported from Goalpara district.
Both patients were secondary contacts of attendees of Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi.
