FIFA Men’s team rankings have gone through major changes in the past few days. France were dethroned from the top spot by one of the best football nations. While Netherlands and Croatia couldn’t make their place into the Top 5 spots. On that note here are the Top 5 FIFA World Men’s Football Nations.

Argentina – 1 

Lionel Messi led Argentina to World Cup glory after defeating France in one of the most thrilling finals in the history of the FIFA World Cup. With their successful trophy campaign, Argentina dethroned France to secure the first position with 1840.93 points.

France -2 

The French Football team would have been able to maintain their position at the summit of the table comfortably if they went on to win the World Cup final against Argentina. France has now moved to the second position with 1838.45 points.

Brazil – 3

Brazil failed to get past Croatia in the World Cup Quarter Finals. Even their recent performances have not been up to their usual standards as they lost a friendly game against Morocco. They have now moved down to the third position with 1834.21 points.

Belgium – 4

The Red Belgians have moved down to the fourth position in the men’s rankings. Their inconsistency hasn’t helped them at all in the standings. In the 2022 World Cup, they failed to qualify to get past the group stage. Belgium has 1792.53 points.

England – 5

In recent years England has had a lot of potential in their squad but they have failed to lift any major trophy. With the level of squad and management England has always been in contention for major titles, but they end up falling short due to different reasons. Their lack of consistency has got them in the fifth position with 1792.43 points.
