Following the violence that erupted in the disputed Lamhai Namdi-Kiyevi area on November 7, the Lamhai Namdi Village Chairman, along with IRB personnel, conducted a damage survey on Tuesday. Reportedly, the total number of houses burned down during the violence has been confirmed to be 30.
Co-Chairman of the United Democratic Alliance in Nagaland, TR Zeliang, visited the violence-hit site on Tuesday and interacted with the villagers.

Zeliand further reminded people that they should seek to explore means and ways to resolve any conflict in a peaceful manner.
The UDA Co-Chairman also expressed solidarity with the families rendered homeless and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the violence.
