ENPO in touch with Centre on demand for Frontier Nagaland

Meanwhile, speaking to Northeast Live Editor-in-Chief Wasbir Hussain in the show Northeast tonight, Convener of ENPO talk team K Asungba Sangtam said that the organization has been in touch with the Centre on the issue and was awaiting a response from Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, NDPP MLA Imkong Imchen who urged CM Neiphiu Rio for a special session on the Frontier Nagaland issue said that the ENPO demand can’t be taken lightly.

NPF leader Azo Neinu while acknowledging the ENPO demand to be genuine stated that there is no room for further division of Nagaland.

Former ENSF president Hawang T Wangsha meanwhile felt that the 20 Eastern Nagaland MLAs should mediate between the Government of India and the ENPO.
