Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter, has now fired another member of the Android app.
After laying off 50 percent of employees and thousands of contractors, Elon Musk fired the app developer team via a tweet.
Eric Frohnhoefer, an Android developer, was the person whose employment was terminated by Musk.
Frohnhoefer said in a tweet that Musk was mistaken in saying that Musk’s assessment of Twitter being slow as the app is doing “>1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render timelines,” was wrong.

“Btw, I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline,” Musk tweeted on Sunday.
Citing Musk’s tweet, Eric later wrote, “I have spent ~6yrs working on Twitter for Android and can say this is wrong,”
Following this, Musk asked him, “Then please correct me. What is the right number?” and also asked, “Twitter is super slow on Android. What have you done to fix that?”
As responses to his Twitter conversation poured in, an unidentified user said, “I have been a developer for 20 years. And I can tell you that as the domain expert here you should inform your boss privately. Trying to one up him in public while he is trying to learn and be helpful makes you look like a spiteful self-serving dev.”
Eric replied to this by saying, “Maybe he should ask questions privately. Maybe using Slack or email.”
Another user then chimed in and tagged Musk in his tweet, asking him, “with this kind of attitude, you probably don’t want this guy on your team.”
Musk simply replied to the Twitter thread saying, “He’s fired.”
Eric’s termination was confirmed when he tweeted a image of his account locked and wrote, “Guess it is official now.”
Since acquiring Twitter Musk has fired several employees of the company including including the board of directors as well as the CEO Parag Agrawal and chief financial officer Ned Legal. Additionally, he has made a number of decisions impacting the working of Twitter which has millions of daily active users.(With inputs from ANI)
