Doctors mistake river for a flooded road, drives straight in, dies; was using Google Map to navigate

In an unfortunate incident, two doctors from Kerala died after their car fell into the Periyar river in Kerala’s Kochi, police said. The accident happened on Sunday.
The doctors, identified as Advaith, 29, and Ajmal, 29, both working at a private hospital in the district, were returning to Kodungallur and was reportedly using Google Map to navigate.
They mistook the river to be a waterlogged road and drove straight ahead. Soon the car started to sink and both Advaith and Ajmal could not come out of the car.
It was raining when the accident happened.
