Nagaland: Dimapur residents to face power cuts from today till May 20

Burma Camp, Purana Bazaar, parts of Walford, Naharbari, Darogajan, Padumpukhuri, Darogapathar and its adjoining areas will face the power outage
Residents of many areas in Nagaland’s Dimapur would be facing power cuts from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m daily in a phased manner on May 16, 18, 19 and 20, informed the state Power department.
People living in Burma Camp, Purana Bazaar, parts of Walford, Naharbari, Darogajan, Padumpukhuri, Darogapathar and its adjoining areas under 11kV Airport, Purana Bazaar and Veterinary feeders would experience the scheduled shutdown of power supply said SDO (Elec. II) Er. Chubatemsu Ao.
Everyone in the affected areas have been requested to cooperate and bear with the inconveniences during the outage.
According to the official, the power supply would be disrupted as repair and upgradation work of the 11kV feeders along the main roads in Dimapur town would be taken up to prepare for the building of an 11kV trunk line.
