The trailer for the highly anticipated film “83” starring Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone was released today end the wait for millions of moviegoers. The sports drama 83 is an Indian Hindi-language sports biopic directed by Kabir Khan. It is based on India’s World Cup victory defeating the reigning champions, the West Indies at the Lord’s, London in 1983.

Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev, also known as the “Haryana Hurricane” for his astonishing playing techniques, while, Deepika Padukone is stepping into the shoes of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Bhatia in the film.

Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi, the actor who is known for his work in ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘Sacred Games’ is seen playing the role of manager PR Man Singh.
83 will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 24, 2021.

The Raajkamal Films International of Kamal Haasan and Annapurna Studios of Nagarjuna Akkineni are teaming up with Reliance Entertainment to present the Tamil and Telugu versions, respectively.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh shared a new poster of the film on Instagram and wrote, “Like people says, taste the success once… tongue want more.”
