Death toll in Assam floods have mounted to 10 with four more deaths being reported from different parts of the state.
Two deaths were reported from the worst affected Barak Valley, one from Gossaingaon in Kokrajhar district and another from Hailakandi district.
Two students were washed away by devastating floods at Gosaipur in Udarband in the Barak Valley. The deceased duo have been identified as Raju Nunia and Bapan Rabidas.
On the other hand, another death was reported from Bajrapur village in Hailakandi district. The deceased have been identified as Rohul Ahmed Tapadar.
Meanwhile, a 4-year-old child was also drowned in the flood waters at Gossaigaon in Kokrajhar.
