A strong cyclonic storm with heavy rains lashed Tripura’s capital city of Agartala for more than 30 minutes today evening creating chaos among people returning from offices. Pedestrians were caught
A strong cyclonic storm with heavy rains lashed Tripura’s capital city of Agartala for more than 30 minutes today evening creating chaos among people returning from offices.
Pedestrians were caught in the storm as it uprooted many electricity and telephone poles.
According to reports coming in some tress collapsed leading to damage of properties including vehicles, residents and shops in the low-lying areas.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecasted heavy rainfall in different parts of the State until Thursday.
