However, the curfew relaxation will not apply to Kangvai, Samulamlan, and Sangaikot sub-divisions.

The Churachandpur district administration has relaxed the curfew today after noticing an improvement in the law and order situation. The curfew relaxation will remain in effect from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

However, the curfew relaxation will not apply to Kangvai, Samulamlan, and Sangaikot sub-divisions. Officials have clarified that future relaxations will depend on the administration’s assessment of the prevailing law and order situation.

The recent violence between groups started on Tuesday around 7:30 pm. Security personnel tried to bring the situation under control, but the sudden and coordinated nature of the attacks made it difficult to contain the chaos immediately.

Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur has also urged the public not to believe or spread any misinformation without verifying it with the concerned authorities. He also appealed to the public to refrain from resorting to violence and to support efforts toward a peaceful resolution.
