A crucial meeting on Sixth Schedule was held in Delhi today with delegations from Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura in attendance.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that important matters in regard to the Northeast was discussed keeping in focus the amendment of sixth schedule.

Different agendas, points and concerns of the different states and their councils were taken up.

Meanwhile, Assam Transport Minister Chandramohan Patowary said that major issues pertaining to the MoS signed in 2011 in regard to the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council was discussed.
