Crucial meet on Naga Peace talks on August 9

As the Naga Peace talks between the Centre and the NSCN-IM are at an advanced stage, a crucial meeting between the top NSCN-IM leadership and the Centre has been fixed

As the Naga Peace talks between the Centre and the NSCN-IM are at an advanced stage, a crucial meeting between the top NSCN-IM leadership and the Centre has been fixed on August 9.

The meeting has been organised by the Arunachal Naga Students Federation and will take place at Deomali in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Central delegation will be led by Joint Secretary to the Ministry of Home Affairs – Satyendra Garg.  This is the first ever meeting on the critical and crucial Naga issue held in Arunachal Pradesh.

NSCN-IM has been demanding inclusion of the three eastern most districts of Arunachal Pradesh namely Tirap, Changlang and Longding in Greater Nagalim for several years now.
