A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo helped Real Madrid beat PSG 3-1 while Sadio Mane became the 4th Liverpool player to score a Champions League hat-trick after Michael Owen, Yossi Benayoun and Philippe Coutinho to help Liverpool demolish Porto 5-0 in Portugal in the first leg matches of the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League last night.
Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 100 goals for a single team in the UEFA Champions League as he scored a brace while Brazilian Marcelo added a third for the the reigning champions. In Portugal, Mane grabbed a hat-trick and Mohamed Salah scored yet again as Liverpool demolished Porto 5-0.
Elsewhere at the Etihad, Manchester City pumped in four goals against a helpless Basel. In Turin, Tottenham matched Juventus as the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Gonzalo Higuaín scored both goals for Juventus while Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were the scorers for Spurs.
