The Congress party on Saturday released the first list of candidates for the Assam assembly elections. State Congress president Ripun Bora will contest from Gohpur constituency in the first phase

The Congress party on Saturday released the first list of candidates for the Assam assembly elections.

State Congress president Ripun Bora will contest from Gohpur constituency in the first phase of elections.

The party has not yet announced its candidate for the Titabor constituency which was earlier held by former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi.
