A day after inauguration of the historic Bogibeel Bridge by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress today attacked the Centre for not inviting former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the inauguration.

Assam leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia said it is very unfortunate that the BJP led government has not invited former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the inauguration ceremony.

Saikia also took exception to the PM’s remark that the previous government did not focus on development.
