The person who was injured in the blast that occurred in Manipur’s Churachandpur on March 12 succumbed to his injuries on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar
The person who was injured in the blast that occurred in Manipur’s Churachandpur on March 12 succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar hailed from Samastipur in Bihar.
He had been undergoing treatment at the Raj Medicity hospital in Imphal where his condition was serious.

The explosion took place in the heart of Churachandpur town on March 12.
The victim had reportedly seen smoke coming out of a packed bag nearby and poured water on it to douse the fire when the abandoned bag exploded.
Forensic teams from Imphal rushed to the spot inspected the site. The team also collected debris and other evidence from the blast site.
However, the nature of the explosive is yet to be ascertained.
