Ahead of her Cannes red carpet debut, Mrunal Thakur dropped stunning photos of herself clad in a sequinned saree.

It is raining desi silhouettes in Cannes! After Sara Ali Khan’s desi style Cannes red carpet debut in an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla lehenga, Mrunal Thakur turned desi girl and flaunted ethnic glam in a dazzling saree for an event in the French Riviera.

The actress, who is all set to make her Cannes red carpet debut, looked like a glam doll in a sparkling sheer saree from the label Falguni and Shane Peacock. The diva picked a rather modish drape that was swathed in sequin embellishments and came with a sultry blouse. The pre-draped saree also featured cowled details and accentuated her curves.

Take a look at the pictures here:

Intense smokey eyes, nude lips, defined brows and soft-contoured cheeks were her glam picks. To style the saree that ranked high on bling, Mrunal picked a pair of pearl danglers. Her tresses, blow-dried to perfect, added to the glamorous look.

Here’s a closer look:

The actress also served a hearty dose of glam in Cannes a day before as she posed for pictures in a daring outfit. She exuded oomph in a black bodysuit teamed with a sequinned jacket and bold sheer pants.

What a diva! Isn’t she?

As for Sara Ali Khan, the actress walked the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the ongoing international film festival in a heavily-embellished lehenga. Her sartorial pick for Cannes Day 2 was a fusion monochrome saree by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
