Union Home Minister Amit Shah have tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. He is currently being admitted to the hospital.

The Home Minister took to Twitter to reveal he has tested positive for coronavirus.

“My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of the doctors,” Shah tweeted.

“I request all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days to please isolate and get yourself tested,” he added.

Meanwhile, Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has wished for Amit Shah’s speedy recovery.

Taking to Twitter, Sarma wrote, “My good wishes for your speedy recovery Adarniya @AmitShahji. With your resolute determination and strong will power you will soon come out of this.”
