Brahmaputra close to danger level, Dibrugarh faces flood threat

Incessant rains for the last couple of days across the districts in eastern Assam and several parts of Arunachal Pradesh have created a flood-like situation once again in Dibrugarh.

As per the weather department, the Brahmaputra River is reported to be flowing close to the danger level. Reports are also rife of flood waters entering some villages under the Chabua and Tengakhat revenue circles.
