The BJP in Manipur has lodged an FIR against NPP’s outer Manipur candidate Thangminlien Kipgen for his allegation against BJP’s Outer Manipur candidate Benjamin Mate.
Thangminlien Kipgen had alleged that that Benjamin Mate is openly using armed outfits like the KNA & other militants for unlawful campaigning.
The NPP candidate also alleged that the armed groups instructed the village chiefs to secured 90 per cent of vote for BJP Candidate.
Meanwhile, speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh termed the allegation as baseless.
