Bizarre! Dog gives birth to calf in Assam

In an unusual event that occurred in Assam’s Golaghat district, near the Usha Tea Garden area, a pet dog surprised everyone by giving birth to a calf. The incident occurred during the morning hours.

The dog’s owner, Ashish Naik, stated, “My dog has been with me for 8 years, and she has given birth to puppies before, but this is the first time something like this has happened. When I returned home, my daughters showed me what our dog had given birth to.”

Naik informed his neighbours about this occurrence. Some of them suggested offering prayers, as such an incident had never been witnessed before.

As per inputs, the calf, which was alive for a while, passed away later in the day.

The incident has left the community surprised, shocked and intrigued.
