Assam’s COVID-19 cases surpass 1,500; 28 more test positive

The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has surpassed the 1,500-mark after 28 more persons tested positive on Tuesday. Of the fresh cases, 12 have been detected in Nagaon, 10
The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has surpassed the 1,500-mark after 28 more persons tested positive on Tuesday.
Of the fresh cases, 12 have been detected in Nagaon, 10 in Golaghat, 1 in Jorhat. Meanwhile, 5 air travelers have also tested positive for the deadly virus.
With 1,222 active cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has now risen to 1,513.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “28 new cases of #COVID19+ 12 Nagaon, 10 Golaghat, 1 Jorhat 5 from Airport.”
