Assam: Vegetable seller killed after being hit by speeding bike

The incident took place on Tuesday evening at Madhurapul area in Kashipur, Cachar
A vegetable seller died after being hit by a speeding motorcycle in Cachar district of Assam.
The deceased has been identified as Nazrul Hoque.
As per inputs, the incident took place on Tuesday evening at Madhurapul area in Kashipur, Cachar.
Hoque was walking home after selling vegetables, when a speeding bike hit him from behind, killing him on the spot.
It has been alleged that the motorcyclist was drunk.
Police rushed to the incident site and arrested the motorcyclist. Further investigation is underway.
