Assam terror modules using hi-tech methods to operate: CM Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday revealed sensational details about Mufti Mustafa who had been running the infamous Jami-ul Huda that was evicted today.
Addressing the media, CM Sarma informed that Mustafa is actually a doctorate in Islamic law from Bhopal. Prior to this, he studied in Maharashtra, followed by Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Minister also stated that Mustafa was a highly ranked linkman who was in contact with the banned Ansar Ullah Bangla team in Bangladesh. And not only did he host the Bangladesh nationals, but he along with the nationals motivated the students residing in the madrassa, including children
Further, Mustafa had links with top leaders of the ABT and invited them to the Madrassa, and provided them shelter.
Apart from incriminating books, highly encrypted mobile app links were being used by the terror modules. Additionally, it is also learned that Mustafa had links with all the modules busted in the state so far. He used to receive funds from Bangladesh nationals.
Meanwhile, the wife and brother of Mufti Mustafa have been arrested. As per reports, both have been taken into custody for destroying evidence.
The police have so far arrested four persons for allegedly running a terror module in Morigaon.
Moreover, taking the anti-terror operations one notch higher, authorities in Assam today evicted the sealed Jami-ul Huda Madrassa in Moirabari.
Bulldozers arrived at the spot early morning today and began demolishing the building of the madrassa that has become infamous as a breeding ground for Jihadi terror in the region.
It may be mentioned here that the madrassa was sealed on July 28 after police busted a terror module. The police had also arrested linkman Mufti Mustafa from the madrassa for conspiring with the Bangladesh-based Ansar Ullah Bangla team member Amiruddin Ansari.
The Assam Police had also seized incriminating documents, mobile phones and bank passbooks, and more.
It is learned that Mufti Mustafa had opened the infamous madrassa on 2018.
