Assam shocker: New born baby abandoned, found inside a sack in a bush

After rescuing the new born, the police immediately admitted the infant to the Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH) for medical care.

In a sensational incident that has sent shockwaves across the city, a new born baby was found inside a sack, dumped in the bush in Kakatigaon locality of Jorhat in upper Assam.

After noticing the new born, the locals immediately informed the police. The police immediately admitted the infant to the Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH) for medical care.

The doctors are currently monitoring the child.

The identities of the new born’s parents have not been ascertained yet.

An investigation has been started to identify the parents.
