Assam on Monday reported 39 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, taking the state’s overall tally to 466.

Taking to Twitter Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “39 new cases of #COVID19+ confirmed. All swabs were taken before they were put in quarantine. 35 Golaghat, 3 Dhemaji, 1 Nagaon.”

(Total cases 466, Recovered 57, Active cases 402, Deaths 04 & Migrated 03)
With 57 recoveries, the number of active cases has now increased to 402.
