In a kind gesture an Assam Police jawan in Sivasagar district was seen on video distributing pens to the candidates of Class XII Board (Higher Secondary) examinations and wishing them good luck.

As seen in the video, the constable Ratul Gogoi from 1st APBN greeted the candidates with pens at Hem Chandra Dev Goswami College, Sivasagar as the crucial Higher Secondary (HS) exams started on Wednesday.

Ratul Gogoi is winning hearts all over the state after his video went viral on social media platforms.

Gogoi’s kind gesture was praised by Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and the department has decided to felicitate him along with a cash award of Rs. 10,000.

The Assam Police took their official twitter handle to congratulate and praise Ratul Gogoi.
