In a big breakthrough for security agencies, in less than 24 hours after the Wednesday’s daring bomb attack in the heart of Guwahati, police has stumbled upon a huge cache of explosives, grenade making equipment’s besides arms and ammunition at a house in the city.

The Assam police has raided a house and busted a bomb manufacturing unit at Panjabari in Guwahati.

According to reports, a huge quantity of explosives as much as 45 kg has been found during the raids carried out by police and forensic department officials in the house of a lady in Baghorbori area.

Besides, 25 rounds of live ammunition were also seized from the house. Police said, the discovery of explosives has links to yesterday’s grenade attack which the ULFA(I) was quick to claim.
