Assam police arrested 12 illegal Bangladeshi nationals near the Indo-Bangladesh border fencing in Hatshingimari on October 1 night.
Assam police arrested twelve illegal Bangladeshi nationals near the Indo-Bangladesh border fencing in Hatshingimari, South Salmara Mankachar on October 1 night. Acting on specific information, police officers intercepted the group while they were traveling in a tempo from Meghalaya. According to sources, the Bangladeshi nationals had entered India two to three months earlier through Dawki in Meghalaya and got fake Aadhar cards to prove themselves as Indian nationals.
