Assam: Meet Aditi Das, a college student who drives e-rickshaw for a living, aspires to be a police officer

If there is a will, there is way, and Aditi Das, a college student in Assam’s Gohpur has proved it right by choosing to drive e-rickshaw to earn living and to fulfill her dream of becoming a police officer.

Aditi is a 3rd semester student at Chaiduar College, Gohpur.

Aditi said that her father abandoned her and her mother a long time ago, and that owing to their poor financial condition, she has decided to drive e-rickshaw to earn a livelihood while continuing her education.

Initially she has been mocked by neighbours, but none of that has stopped her from becoming a proud, self-employed girl fearlessly driving around the roads of Gohpur.
