Assam: Kamrup (M) DC office goes online from today

Matters related to court cases, departmental proceedings, confidential matters, and the Election office under Kamrup Metro district will not fall under the purview of the e-file system

The Kamrup Metropolitan District’s Deputy Commissioner’s Office (Kamrup Metro DC’s office) has announced that all its branches and amalgamated establishments will go online from today and function via e-office mode.

In a notification issued by the district administration, it was stated that the general public and all stakeholders can send their petitions and service-related requests in digital format to the dedicated e-mail ID: e-office-dckamrupm@assam.gov.in.
However, matters related to court cases, departmental proceedings, confidential matters, and the Election office under Kamrup Metro district will not fall under the purview of the e-file system.
The notification further stated that the designated e-mail ID for the public and stakeholders would be managed by the DIO, NIC, Kamrup Metro District, and their team.

All the branches and amalgamated establishments of the Kamrup Metro DC’s office will have their respective e-mails and one branch Nodal Staff and one NIC Staff will receive digital submissions forwarded by the DIO, and NIC team, to their respective e-mails. They will generate them for their respective branch and amalgamate establishment for the e-office process.
“This team will download the entire digital submissions hourly basis and distribute it to the different respective branches and amalgamated establishments in their respective e-mail without fail and uninterrupted manner,” the notification said.

“All branches and amalgamated establishment of the office of the Deputy Commissioner office, Kamrup (M) district will have their respective e-mail and one branch Nodal staff from among the senior and junior assistants and one NIC staff to receive respective digital submissions from the public and stakeholder as forwarded by the DIO, NIC team to their respective branch and amalgamated establishment for e-office process,” reads the notification.
All the Circle Offices under Kamrup Metropolitan District, namely Azara Revenue Circle, Chandrapur Revenue Circle, Dispur Revenue Circle, Guwahati Revenue Circle, and Sonapur Revenue Circle, will designate one Nodal Staff from among the Senior and Junior Assistants to download all digital petitions and service-related e-mails from the district headquarters to their Circle Office.
They will process the same in the e-office in the respective Circle Office without fail and interruption.
For the convenience of the public and stakeholders, manual receipt of petitions and service-related requests will also be available at the Central Receipt Section is located at the ground floor of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Kamrup Metro, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36. All the branch Senior and Junior Assistants will scan those manually receipt petitions and documents and carry out the e-office process under the guidance of Branch Nodal Staff and NIC Staff.
