Assam High school leaving certificate examination results declared, pass percentage recorded at 56.04 percent

The total pass percentage in the 2018 Assam HSLC examinations has been recorded at 56.04 percent. A total of one lakh eighty nine thousand one hundred and ninety one candidates
The total pass percentage in the 2018 Assam HSLC examinations has been recorded at 56.04 percent.
A total of one lakh eighty nine thousand one hundred and ninety one candidates successfully cleared the examination out of a total of three lakh thirty seven thousand five hundred and seventy candidates who had appeared for the examination.
Ninety two thousand one hundred and thirty five female candidates have cleared the examination whereas ninety seven thousand and fifty six male candidates have cleared the examination.
A total of 60,987 have passed the examination in first division, 81,853 have passed in second division and 46,351 candidates have passed the examination in third division.
Altogether 6477 candidates have passed the examination with distinction, whereas fourteen thousand and sixty three candidates have secured star marks.
Raktim Bhuyan, a student of the Moonlit High School, Sonitpur is the 2018 topper. Raktim scored a total of 593 marks.
Abinash Kalita, a student of Anundaram Borooah Academy, Barpeta and Preetpal Bezbaruah of Tihu High School in Nalbari bagged the second rank respectively with a total score of 592.
The third position was shared by three students. Sultana Ayishah Siddiqua of Saint Teresa English High School, Barpeta; Jintee Devi of Saint John’s Higher Secndary School, Baksa and Arbi Chaliha of Sudarshan Public School, Kamrup. They all scored 591 marks.
