Continuing the crackdown on the free flow of illegal drugs in the state, a team from Dibrugarh led by additional SP HQ) Bitul Chetia, officer-in-charge Lahowal PS Monujjwal Gogoi, and IC Mohanbari arrested three drug peddlers on Sunday and recovered 35.45 grams of suspected heroin and cash worth Rs 544000 from their possession.

During the operation, five mobile phones, a Bolero with registration number AS06 Q4036, and an Alto K-10 with registration number AS23K 1089 were also seized.

The arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Udipta Bora, Mukul Bora, and Rupjit Baruah.
A case had been registered against the accused.
