The Congress in Assam have demanded a judicial inquiry into the Tinsukia killings which shook the entire nation.
The party made this demand after the visit of a 4-member Congress delegation led by Congress legislature party leader Debabrata Saikia to the incident spot in Kherbari village.
The Congress further held Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal responsible for the recent killings saying that the Assam Government failed to take up adequate measures even after having prior information about the possibility of such kind of an attack.
