Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal visits Hima Das’s family members

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited the house of sprinter Hima Das at Dhing in Nagaon district. Hima’s family members and an enthusiastic crowd welcomed Chief Minister Sonowal on his arrival.

Hima’s family members and an enthusiastic crowd welcomed Chief Minister Sonowal on his arrival. Sonowal landed up at the house of Hima to congratulate her family on her achievement.

Hima won the gold medal in the 400 meters run at the recent Under-20 World Athletics Championships.

Talking to the media, CM Sonowal said that all the local places at Dhing associated with Hima would be improved as a mark of respect for her achievement.

He also added that Hima would be given a rousing reception at a grand function once she is back in Assam.
